The John J. and Helen M. Durante and Family Charitable Trust Scholarship are to be awarded to an individual pursuing a career in the building industry. Building industry related courses are any curriculum which prepares the student for a career in any facet of the building industry, including but not limited to, Drafting and Design, Construction Technology, Mechanical Contracting, Air Conditioning and Heating Technology, Real Estate and Marketing, Electrical Engineering, Architectural Design, Surveying, Civil or Industrial Engineering, Electronic Engineering Technology, Environmental Technology, Land Use Management, Construction Management, Planning, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design and Interior Design.

Scholarship Application -- 2010

Scholarship Opportunities!
Limited to students who live or attend school in Bergen, Hudson, Passaic, or Sussex Counties. These scholarships are available to full or part-time students who currently attend or will attend an accredited institution of higher learning or a vocational training program, pursuing a construction-related course of study.
The Donald Van Natta and The Alex Sands Memorial Scholarship for the academic year 2009/2010 will each grant $1,000. The John J. and Helen M. Durante Family Scholarship will grant a total of $4,000 to one student ($2,000 for the first year and $2,000 for the second year of study). A separate additional application must be completed to be considered for the Durante Family Scholarship. Available in hard copy only through the BRANNJ office. DEADLINE for completed applications is May 7, 2010.
